Shine out-of-shield

A Jump cancel shine out-of-shield. One of the fastest out-of-shield options in the game and can be highly punishing if it hits. The range is not massive, but it hits behind Fox, unlike grab.

Because of its raw speed and coverage, shine out-of-shield works particularly well against Falco, whose shine is slower and whose down-air is not even remotely safe.
