While it is simple enough to input neutral or down aerials immediately as you leave the ground, doing so with up, forward, and back aerials can feel impossible on a typical grip.
If you try to Up-throw up-air opponents with late aerials, you will notice that you won't quite connect the up-air. Are your hands just too slow? No. In fact, this requires some finesse.
To get the aerial out on frame 1 or 2, you will need to have your thumb already on the C-stick while another finger presses jump. This is usually done with one of four methods:
